It is a bug with the Windows and the help files that sometimes they show up empty. Navigate to the VDV folder and open them there.
C:\Vista Data Vision\db.data.browser\data\db.data.browser.chm
C:\Vista Data Vision\db.robot.c\help\db.robot.c_help.chm
C:\Vista Data Vision\db.web.browser\data\db.web.browser.chm
You will see a popup window, there you need to un-check the check box Always ask before opening this file.
Now the Help files should work normally when opened from VDV Applications.
