Configure GIS

To Access: Go to Setup -> GIS to configure

Create a new GIS

 Click on the icon in top right corner to add a new GIS.

Give the GIS map a name, Select an Installed License and select the owner.

Auto Bounds: Automatically select zoom and centre of the map. Possible to manually choose the setup by removing the checkbox.

2.Add Markers

Click on Marker icon (number 2 above) and create a new Marker. There are 5 different options available.

Variable: Create a Marker with 1 or more variables. They will be displayed as a graph when clicked on.

Dashboard: Link to a Dashboard. The Dashboard will open in a popup box when Marker is clicked.

Displacement Graph: Link to a Displacement graph. The Graph will open in a popup box when Marker is clicked.

Real Time Display: Link to a Real Time Display. The RTD will open in a popup box when Marker is clicked.

Webcam: Link to a webcam which will be displayed in a popup box when Marker is clicked.

Import: Mass import markers to the GIS.


Add Variable

Click the + icon to add a new sensor to the Marker. 

Click the Icon to choose icon for the Marker.

Click Add and click on the Map to place the Marker.


Add Dashboard

Select the Dashboard to use from the Dropdown list. 

Choose Icon for the Dashboard.

Click Add/Remove to Add the it to the GIS map


Add Displacement Graph

Select Displacement Graph from the Dropdown list.

Chose Icon for the Displacement Graph.

Click Add/Remove to Add the it to the GIS map.


Add Real Time Display

Select RTD from the Dropdown list.

Chose Icon for the RTD.

Click Add/Remove to Add the it to the GIS map.


3. Add Layers

Click  to add a new layer.



  • Start by choosing the layer file
  • Choose Border Color, Border Width and Style.
  • Background can be Solid or Scale. 
    • With Scale the layer can have different background color depending on Layer information values.
  • Choose Background Color and Opacity (transparency)
